Hinged shower screen with a fixed part
The shower screen consisting of a fixed part and of a hinged part hinged to it the shower screen protects the space and the fixtures next to the shower from splashing water. The fixed part efficiently restricts water and when the shower is not in use the hinged part can be turned to the side. Due to the combination of the fixed and the hinged part the shower screen can be dimensioned also in a cramped space so that the hinged part does not hit other fixtures.
The hinged part of the shower screen turns 90 degrees in both directions and is equipped with adjustable centring. The centring attempts to return the hinged part back to the open and closed positions.
Shower screen is attached by its sides to the building wall by means of wall
mountedfittings. The fixed part is supported from the top edge with the
brace
installed in the corner and from the bottom corner with the fitting glued to
the floor. Between the panel of the fixed part and the floor will be a 25mm
high gap. Between the panel and the floor may be installed a seal (standard
part) , so that water will not be able to flow under the panel. A floor
seal
can be installed in the bottom edge of the swinging part, which restricts
the
flow of water.
Installation guide
Installation services are available in Finland capital (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Porvoo, Sipoo, Kirkkonummi, Nurmijärvi, Kerava, Järvenpää, Riihimäki, Pornainen, Hyvinkää, Tuusula), Tampere (Tampere, Nokia, Kangasala, Lempäälä ja Pirkkala), Hämeenlinna and Lahti (Lahti, Mäntsälä, Orimattila) regions. Service is carried out by manufacturers professional mechanic. When product is ordered with installation service, transport company delivers the product to customer site. When the product has arrived, mechanic will phone customer and agree the exact installation date and time. Installation is done to clean and installation ready surfaces. If there is an old product in the bathroom, you can order the additional service for removal of the old product. Installation work includes besides installation of the product also silicone seaming of wall mounting joints and drilled holes and taking away the installation garbage. If you are unsure about the measures of the product (for example in case of custom sized products), you can order a measurement visit on-site done by the mechanic. In this case the mechanic will fill-in the final measures of the product to the system and the responsibility that measures are correct is carried by the manufacturer.

The fittings used in the product are manufactured of brass alloy. Surface treatment options are Chrome plated, Brushed, Brass, White (RAL 9016), Black (RAL 9005), Sand (RAL 1019), Mocha (RAL 8025) and Cocoa (RAL 8019). Chrome and Brass are shiny surface treatments, brushed fittings are brushed matte, White, Black, Sand, Mocha and Cocoa fittings are painted.
The product is manufactured of 8 mm thick tempered safety panel (EN 12150). Glassoptions are Transparent, grey, brown, satin, super bright and black. One side of the satin glasses is etched to acquire a velvety feel and the other side is smooth. When choosing a satin glass product, bear in mind that the etched surface of the panel is sensitive to scratches and stains. The black glass is slightly see through in heavy light and almost nontransparent if the space is darker. The super bright glasses are manufactured with the iron removed, thus removing most of the green tint that glasses naturally have. Please note, that productpictures of satin glass use super bright satin of which an offer can be calculated via our customer srevice. All glasses can be treated in the factory with a Cranith calcification prevention coating. The coating enables the panel to stay clean easier.
The size of the shower screen can be selected from the standard dimensions or it can be manufactured custom dimensions.

The product is supplied as standard with a 28mm high floor seal. The optional accessories are a 50mm high floor seal for shower areas where the floor tilting is higher than normal. The length of the floor seal is 1000mm and it is cut to a suitable length on site. The watertight quality of the product can be improved by installing a step profile under the door. The step profile is cut into a suitable length on the side and glued to the floor. The height of a shaped step profile is 10mm and its width is 16mm. An extension step can be placed under the glass clamp to raise it by 10mm.
